2011 Men\\\'s Club Champion

August 12th 2011 - This years championship is one for the history books. The competition was tough both days but only one winner could prevail. The second round started with 3 players under par. The golf course faired well and Mr Greg Vaughan finished the event strong. Congratulations to him and all the flight winners. Special thanks to everyone that participated.

August 11th 2011 - The history continues with the strong play of our Ladies Club Champion. Sarah Pulaski captured her 5 straight championship with style and determination. Congratulation Sarah Pulaski on your title.

March 10th 2011 - A few days ago, 13 members and 3 staff members ventured to the coast of Mississippi for a 3 night golf trip. Everyone stayed at the Beau Rivage Hotel and enjoyed 3 rounds of golf at various locations. Each night the groups got together for some food, drinks and some reflection of the shots they left on the course that day. The last day consisted of a round of golf on one of the top courses in the nation, Fallen Oak. Thanks to all that went as we look forward to next year.

Greenside bunker on Hole #10

September 23rd 2010 - Many of you have already seen the drastic change taking place on the golf course. We have recently started a bunker renovation project that will completely change the way the golf course plays. All 84 bunkers will be rebuilt from ground up. Along with the rebuilding of the bunkers, we plan on eliminating appox. 20 bunkers from the course. The picture above represents the greenside bunker on Hole #10. Prior to this project, that area consisted of 3 smaller bunkers. Now just one protects the green. This will help with playability and eliminate the possibility of future issues.

August 13th 2010 - Sarah Pulaski out lasted the rain and heat to capture her 4 consecutive Ladies Club Championship. Her dedication and support to the club and the event is greatly appreciated. Congratulations!

August 13th 2010 - This years event was by far the most competitive championship ever. Round one featured perfect playing conditions along with a brief afternoon shower. When day one was finished their was 7 players with in 7 shots of the lead. The start of round two brought nerves and the back tee boxes in to play. At the end of the day, a new champion was crowned. Mr David Calhoon finished the event shooting 75-71 and becoming the new Men's Club Champion. Congratulations Dave!

September 3rd 2009 - Sarah Pulaski has done something truely amazing. She has won the women's championship 3 years in a row. Her tremendous play the past 3 years have been a true reflection on her dedication to the game. She works very hard and continues to improve each year. Congratulations Sarah!

Trey Kamman

Trey Kamman came to play this year! Trey captured his second club championship in 3 years. Trey fired an event low 72 on the first day of competition. Tough conditions and competition was the story of the second day. Trey was able to hold off last year winner Walker J. Swaney for his second title in three years. Congratulations Trey!

August 3rd 2009 - The CC of Oxford is excited to be hosting this years Tour Championship. On August 3rd and 4th we will be featuring some of the best junior golfers in the state of Mississippi. This season ending even includes past event winners from the summer tour. We invite everyone to come out and watch the action.

July 1st 2009 - August 7-9 will mark our 3rd Annual Club Championship. Each of you will be receiving an invitation in the mail with details on this years event. Come join us and challenge for this years titles.

March 23rd 2009 - The Country Club of Oxford is excited to announce that it has been selected to host the Lady Rebel Intercollegiate golf event. This event will include 15 of the top Women's College golf teams in the country. The event will take place April 2nd – April 5th. “The staff is very excited that we were chosen to host this event for Ole Miss.” General Manager, Andrew Smith stated. “We know how great of a course we have, now we get to see some of the best women golfers in the college ranks compete on this challenging layout.”
